At one ivy that I’m familiar with it means that your child’s application will get a more thorough read....which is a decent advantage given how overwhelmed admissions offices are these days. I know many NESCACs have days on campus dedicated to coaching the children of alums on the application process which is an advantage as well.[/quote]
