I think it was much better this. My work was very flexible and while I did not have any maternity leave, I never worked full time u til the kids were 2 and 4. Loved it! During the PhD I worked part time for the university so I was busy, but not 9-6 busy. My summers were much longer and spent a lot more time with my kids.[/quote]
