Is it falling out or is the hair breaking? I'm another who would suggest a good trim to keep the hair healthy and easier to manage.
It is falling out as i brush it. I contacted her specialist and have an appointment on Monday morning. I also reached out to the company that treated her lice to make them aware and ask if there are any known interactions between their product and pool chemicals. They were concerned and had not seen this before and suggested I call the doctor. Up to this point her hair has been very healthy. She gets it cut all the time. She grows hair very fast and always has. She had a substantial cut the second week of Sept. and its already time to cut another 3-4 inches off. I have no problem cutting her hair shorter, but she does. It may be unavoidable. I am more concerned with health issues than her hair length at this point and was looking for advice from anyone with a child that has experienced sudden hair loss.
