It's what happens after the butterflies of newness fade that's important. But also important to have the butterflies if that's what you wanted. I haven't been married very long yet (5 years) but we have already been trough serious issues, employment, health, infertility etc. and made it through so far and stronger. I see my parents and inlaws married for 38 and 45 years respectively. They still adore each other but are also true partners in their marriages. It's possible but early new love and butterflies are not enough to sustain. [/quote]
