What are you, a fish?!?! Is there some invisible forcefield that keeps people east of the Annacostia from crossing it? Is it like the Berlin Wall? Are there border guards in snappy grey uniforms checking papers? How come I've never seen it? I work in SE DC and live in the boonies in southern Maryland. The closest hospital to me is almost 45 minutes away. You could hop in a car, on a bus, or metro train from any point east of the river and be at a hospital before me or 95% of the rest of the population outside any major cities could. Clearly you think there should be a hospital within a five minute walk of everyone. That's absurd. [/quote]
