Her older kids disconnected from her and would likely not appreciate her mentioning them, if they were even watching.  I cannot imagine how difficult that situation is for NK.  Perhaps she was honoring what she assumes are their wishes to not be associated with her, even if it breaks her heart.

She was deep into Scientology, but only because of Tom Cruise.  He had the power and once she was gone, there was no "fighting" for her kids, who by that time were already heavy into it as well.  Katie Holmes got to keep Suri because she was too young for Scientology school.  And you can see how that worked out for having a "mixed" Scientology family.  It's all or nothing for this cult.
