This year I specifically asked that my child NOT get one of the four teachers in the grade because I knew that we would have a big conflict with that teacher. The previous year, I did not make any requests at all. If you are active at the school, you get to know the teachers and their style and will likely have a preference based on your experiences with them. I am also not shy to tell other parents to talk to the Principal if they are unhappy with the teacher assignments and request that their child be moved if there is a valid concern. [/quote]
