We send our children to Spellman and have had a very positive experience for 4 years.  The kindergarten staff is outstanding and all 4 teachers are great so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend sending your daughter there in the Fall.  The Principal is very dedicated and is making a lot of positive changes in the school.  The PTA facebook page is pretty active so you could probably reach out to them if you have questions.   
A lot of people lottery into Dora Kennedy, Hoyer, and Chavez.    
People who decide to go private mostly choose St. Ambrose, Friends School and St Jeromes.  There was a large contingent of families going to Christian Family Montessori but the numbers have gone down since the school moved further away.    [/quote]
