Apparently, when the father would try to visit, the mother would find some reason to deny the visits or would insist on being with her during the whole visit for "medical reasons." The mother would also use the "medical reasons" as a way to intimidate the father into backing off. Not to mention that the mother moved further and further away as Gypsy got older and might be able to blow her cover. [/quote]
