Does Deputy Mayor Snowden have a political future, now that it's public she received political favors that she personally benefited from? Article from the WP: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/dc-politics/second-mayoral-appointee-implicated-in-school-lottery-scandal/2017/05/10/17e72092-35b2-11e7-b373-418f6849a004_story.html?utm_term=.ec0651bbd545 The Deputy Mayor previously ran for office and lost. After a job working for a Member of Congress not from the DMV, she was a special interest lobbyist, was able to afford private school, and currently makes over $200K. She lives in Deanwood, but doesn't seem to really want to be part of the community. Also, not sure what in her background qualifies her to be an expert on economic development? Do you think this scandal will be the end to her political career or just a continuation of the pay for play system we've had with a few of our mayors?
