Idyllic campus and location -- basically a pasture in Southwest Ohio about 35 minutes from Cincinnati, 45 minutes from Dayton, and 7 miles from the Indiana border.

Division 1 athletics. Known as the "Cradle of Coaches" in football for all the coaches who went on to bigger schools and national championships.

Birthplace of four fraternities and a major Greek system.

Negatives include an over-the-top alcohol culture and all the negatives that go along with that including a problem with sexual assault (I would not send me daughters there). And having to forever explaining to people that Miami was a university in Ohio when Florida belonged to Spain. Very white and upper middle class (its nickname when I was there was J Crew U)
