I've been a Kingsbury tutor, and a Lab school tutor. Both are one grad school class, compared to the twelve it takes to be a certified special ed teacher. On top of that, Kingsbury and Lab both take an enormous cut, more than 50%, so most tutors who gain experience then leave and either go into private practice, or go to work for someone else (e.g. Stixrud) who pays better. So, most Kingsbury and Lab tutors have both less education, and less experience.[/quote]
