We may not be as vulnerable when it comes to layoffs but we have to job hop every couple of years in order to leverage pay raises. Otherwise, we find ourselves training new nurses making more than the experienced nurses who stayed in place and remained loyal to one healthcare employer! Incredibly demoralizing.[/quote]
