We said some vows in front of our guests (a couple of close friends and my child). Then we went to dinner. Things we did in advance: 1) I ordered a dress online for myself and DD. DH just wore a nice suit that he had. 2) We bought rings. 3) We picked a date to tell our friends that we wanted to be in attendance. 4) We made dinner reservations. 5) We got the marriage license.
