The fact that your child might get in for PK via the lottery doesn't mean anything special, unless you applied to the lottery as OOB and got it. Then you have a right to stay. The rule is that your once-inboundary child gets to stay until the end of the school year. After that you no longer have a right to stay at the school. Your options are to enter the school's lottery as OOB or work with the principal informally to see if your child can stay. [/quote]
