Both neighborhoods have extremely competitive real estate markets and it's going to be hard enough to buy a house in either. Some of the Lafayette zone is pretty far from the metro and not very walkable, so that's something you might want to consider, too. The schools are pretty much equivalent. Ultimately, one might be a better fit for your kid than the other, but that's not something you will find out from what anyone could tell you here.[/quote]
