Mercy Street may fit the bill - Civil War hospital set in Alexandria - mostly non-problematic - but even that has one of the nurses sitting in bed with one of the doctors, and a freed slave being raped (not graphic, but you definitely know whats going on underneath all the petticoats) It's story appropriate and, again, not graphic, but if she's prudish probably not a good match. Hmmm... maybe Call the Midwife - although that also at least discusses sex (it is about birthing babies after all). What about reality tv - like Cake Boss or Chopped? Also, Planet Earth 2 (on BBC America and AMC) is FANTASTIC. [/quote]
