This will be the first time we will be traveling with our new infant. Spring break prices for hotels are already insane for a normal room for 4 people. Once I put in 3 kids, the hotel either has no availability or offers me a 2 bedroom suite, which sometimes will cost $2000+ per night. Wondering if it will be a big deal to just book for 4 people and bring the baby. What will the hotel do if they find out we have an extra baby in the room? Has anyone been kicked out of a room for having too many kids?
I remember many fond family vacations where the six of us would be in one hotel room with our parents, sleeping bags laid out on the floor. We would often wait in the car while my dad checked in and then went in through a side entrance. There will be posters who will go off about the immorality of this, but it created tons great memories as a child of family vacations, and I didn't grow up to believe in playing the system or lacking a sense of right and wrong.
I remember sleeping in the tub at the hotel once :).
