After the lottery ended last year, we got on the waitlists for PK3 Langley OOB and Friendship Armstrong (we didn't put either on our original lottery list because I didn't know much about Langley and I didn't know anything about Friendship Armstrong). We started at Friendship Armstrong and are very happy. We were offered a spot at Langley in September but didn't think it was desirable to switch since the school year had already started and we were happy at Friendship. If we'd gotten a spot at Langley before the year started, we probably would have taken it as I know and like many neighborhood families who attended for PK3. A few of them didn't love it, but most are happy with it. Honestly, I'd say your kid will probably be fine at Langley or Friendship Armstrong --  I'd put them both near the bottom of your list and rank them in order of convenience. We'll stay at Friendship for PK4 unless we get into one of the HRCS that we were 100+ on the waitlist for last year. HTH.[/quote]
