DH contacted them and they got back to us a couple of months later and asked for "all the receipts we had", then vanished never to be heard from again. That was three four months ago. 
DH has filed a grievance and an inquiry with OPM. We recently found out that another friend of ours went through the same thing and OPM took over two years to process the issue.
Anyone had this happen to them? 
In the meantime FSAFEDS is happily continuing to deduct our balance from DH's paycheck, and we don't know what to do about next year since this is a benefit we really could use for health expenses but are hesitant to just give them the money away without knowing if we'll ever get it back.[/quote]
