So much disinformation. PCR tests take 12 hours through my HMO.
Also, why are people hanging out with people who have colds? UGHHHHHHHHH |
Not junk. My vaccinated SIL thought she had a cold (bad cough, achiness, loss of sense of smell). Tested and was positive. Passed it on to my brother and niece, both of whom were vaccinated. Brother experienced a semi-bad cold (mostly aches, low fever, stuffiness) and niece experienced a very mild cold. We were with her 24-48 hours before she showed symptoms and none of us got it (all vaccinated). |
^ none of that sounds like a big deal |
For them, it was ok because they had been vaccinated. My point was that it not unusual for vaccinated people to get it and pass it one other vaccinated people. Which means it could also be easily passed from vaccinated to unvaccinated children. And that can be a problem. |
Yes. Truth! Also, though false negative is technically accurate, it usually means that yes, a person may have covid, but does not, at the time of the test, have enough viral load to shed and spread. If you are early in, you usually have at least 24 hours from a negative rapid test before you become contagious. What makes delta particularly worrisome is that the replication of virus is so much faster, more than halving that time. |
You HMO sucks. I got my pcr test back from my local hospital inne hours using insurance. |
I'm not even local to this board and I know 2 vaccinated people who tested positive in the last week. |
Seriously. They are bananas. |
NP-4 breakthrough cases in my family. |
