Best project/purchase/decor change you made during pandemic

Turned my unused small den in basement into my home gym with a treadmill and peloton style bike. Painted the walls a cheerful blue, added storage and art, installed a wall mounted smart TV and added gym flooring. Best project so far.

Have also;

Organized closets
Threw out or donated items we no longer use or need
Cleaned things like doors, moldings, toe kicks, floor trim etc much more often

Also bought new plants and have a gorgeous blooming orchid that makes me happy. Her name is Emma and I tell her every day that she’s lovely.

Someone on this site recommended I use modsy to redecorate my living room and I did it and love it.

And as one of the other PPs mentioned, I'm adding plants!

As for organizing, I hung one of those over-door shoe racks in our downstairs closet and used it for hats, gloves, mittens & masks for the family and it made a huge difference in terms of clutter.

New storm door, the kind where you slide the glass down to switch it to a screen door. I heart it.

We bought nice patio furniture that is really comfy.

I have this! Pax. It holds all my decor and entertaining stuff and the Christmas stuff.

Wait where does the glass go?

I need a new storm door and didn't even know this existed! Thank you! Do you have a specific recommendation?

This thread is making me feel like the slacking, inferior human I am, but I’m still enjoying it.

Painted the kitchen a brighter color
Reorganized my clothes—drawers and walk-in closet. Purged a lot.

What color is your kitchen now? And do you have to worry about adjoining rooms?

Rebuilt two decks in the back of the house.
Bought a sectional for our office so I can work from there instead of my desk from time to time.
Bought new office chairs

So it's actually called a retractable screen, not sure if this was the exact model: https://custom.homedepot.com/custom-doors/p/Andersen-3000-Series-Full-View-Retractable-Aluminum-Storm-Door/306564306/51112-Single-Door/29401-36-x-80-in/29383-White/29410-Left-Hand-Outswing/29999-Retractable-Anytime/29394-Clear/29393-Traditional-Nickel/50561-Standard/7202-No

If you are like me and had an old model that required swapping out glass for a screen, this will be life changing. Wish we'd done it years ago.

Had new doors and windows installed. Much more light!
Doesn't change the space as much, but we had our powder room gutted and re-done. I love it.

I put lighting and new organizers in the closets. Elfa + LED light strips that turn on automatically. Amazing!
