| This will end when we fully professionalize our police, and give them the training, accountability structures, and resources necessary to do their jobs effectively. Similar to doctors they should have malpractice insurance, so that when negligence arises, they can be sued and the money does not come from taxpayers. Police officers are professionals with high stakes jobs and they should be treated as such. |
