Bought the right shape of pinata, and some appropriately colored tissue paper, and repapered it.

Wait, did you also need Twilight piñatas?

No! I made a fox face pinata

What did it say?

Thanks for your public service. I'm invested too.

I've made two pinatas, no paper maché necessary. Just cut two of the shape you want out of cardboard and then use a strip about 6" wide to attach them. Remember to leave a flap so you can fill it with candy and install a loop for hanging. I recommend a zip tie. For decorating I recommend the ruffled crepe paper method. Apply Elmer's glue in a thin line along the long edge of crepe paper, then attach it to the cardboard while scrunching the wet edge. Way easier than fussing with tissue paper and cutting fringe. This might be a good project for a neighborhood student, we've had tons of posts on the local listserv from folks looking for odd jobs. Good luck!

Oh I forgot, spray paint the cardboard the right color before you glue on the crepe paper.

DH made an Ender Dragon piñata for DD's birthday out of leftover Amazon boxes. We just cut the tape to weaken the seams of the boxes to the point that they broke after a dozen or so whacks. There are soooo many tutorials on how to make a piñata online.

Lady, you need three custom piñatas depicting the Twilight series and you won’t tell us why? We need to know!

Focus people! We need to know!

Theory: OP's tween is having a socially distanced, Twilight themed birthday party staged for her social media account. Birthday child and two guests each get their own pinata.

Somebody else post what is inside the pinatas, I'm not enough of a Twilight fan to know. It can't just be glitter.

Can you get generic shaped pinatas and add a photo with a decorative border covering up Dora or whatever is on the front of each?

Twilight themed gender reveal for triplets?

Just glitter is a hilarious and horrible idea for Piñata filler. Image of it's an indoor Piñata- you'd never be rid of that glitter!! It's the herpes of the craft world.

Etsy.

So many talented and crafty people out there.

Nextdoor listserve too. You'd be surprised.

Trying to figure out how this links up with the white Covid situation. Has to be related right?
