How come the mini fridges in hotel rooms do not get very cold inside?

If you ran a hotel chain, wouldn't you tell the maids to turn the temp to a warmer setting while the room was unusued?

That has been my experience exactly. Not worth the extra price some places charge for rooms with a mini fridge.
