I think the bigger issue is that you like the looks of leggings. Let's work on that problem first. |
I definitely think it's fine, as long as the top is long enough. I love this look. |
I've heard if you wore the trend the first time it was around, don't wear it the second.
So, no, don't wear leggings. |
Wear what you like. No one cares at the end of the day. |
I'm Lindsay Lohan and I wear them. |
I think if you are long and lean, then leggings if paired with a longer, sophisticated top and riding boots can really good look at any age. Unfortunately, this look is not flattering at all if you are even a little overweight. |
I did it the first time around with big sweaters and doc martens. I totally thought I was badass. I love the look, but I just can't bear to re-work a look I had 20 years ago. |
Have to disagree with this one. The key is to be fit and slim, not one or the other. |
Totally untrue. Nobody wants to be confronted with your muffin top, cellulite, cameltoe, or anything else unappetizing. |
And you look fabulous! |
Who's going to know what you wore in the 80s? |
If you are old enough to have worn them the first time around, you are too old to wear them this time around. |
I have none of those things, but I hear ya. Muffin tops don't bother me, but cameltoe...maybe just a little. |
I'm 5 feet 7 inches and weigh 126 pounds. Why would I avoid wearing something that's actually flattering on me if I dress it up appropriately? We're not talking about Levi's cut offs or Daisy Dukes, people. |
I'm the PP, and sorry, but they work for my body type. I actually look slimmer in them, with the right shirts, than I do in jeans. I get compliments on my outfits that involve the leggings all the time. I have very nice and athletic legs, and an okay butt. |
