I removed the thread and taken other steps to return DCUM to tranquility. At least for a few days. I really don't like to remove entire threads, but nine pages of that garbage was just too much for me deal with.

| Z-mom, the original discussion was about a thread where some seriously nasty stuff was going on (expletives, name calling). You probably can't access it now cuz Jeff removed it which was probably the right thing to do. You name was never mentioned in the deleted thread. On this forum, WF, I jokingly asked if it might be another well known poster who is kind of famous for saying very inflammatory things along with vulgar name calling. My guess is that another poster answered my speculation with a sarcastic response that it might be you (sarcastic being that you are known for being quite the opposite-positive, kind and no name calling). I then responded with the diabolical post-again, we were just messing around. Even though it was not me who mentioned you, I apologize for your name being brought up and I truly believe that neither of us were attempting to denigrate or disrespect you in anyway. Again, my apologies for my part in this. |

11:13, I don't know, but my mom tells me I was a pacifist from an early age...always trying to squash arguments and calm people down. Dwelling on negative thoughts is stressful to me. It makes me anxious, achy and tense. I hate feeling like that...so I try to stay focused on all that I have to be thankful for. That keeps me happy, peaceful and calm.
This is not to say I don't have my bad days. I was bitchy last night when I got stuck in traffic and was 30 min late to class last night! rrrggh! 11:35, I did read the whole thread. If you read 11:13's post or clicked on the first link, you will find that the link can no longer be read. Thus, I did not know what they were talking about. Have a nice Thanksgiving. |
