Fergie is nasty

I LOVE them, too. If they came into town, I would be at that concert in a heart beat.

Fergie is beautiful and has a strong voice, and the fact that they have been doing this for so long and still putting out number hits and top concert draws is inspriring. I find them similar to No Doubt, however, Fergie is no Gwen that's for sure--but she could get there. Everyone has different tastes in music (I actually find starting a thread topic that you hate some type of band or singer is fairly ridiculous, but to each their own). Ever since their first albums I've liked them.

I couldn't find Fergie more unattractive and I think her voice is terrible.

haha--ask your husband what he thinks of that statement. My wife and I both think she is gorgeous.

Haha, my husband finds her repulsive.

I'm a guy. I honestly think Fergie looks like a crack whore. Disgusting. The music is fine though - brainless pop, but good for dancing.

Apparently she has overcome a lot according to interviews in which she is pretty honest-I don't think it's really fair to come down on Fergie in particular, but the general state of retail music in this country-the best thing you can say about BEP's, Kanye, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Justin, Lady Gaga and Madonna (yes, I said Madonna) and all the other top earning top forty performers is that they excell in mediocrity. True rock and roll is dead, music is simply an IPhone app, a product similar to children's cereal with all the manufacturing, added sugar and advertising dollars to match. No one is looking to make a statement anymore beyond how much ass there is at the club. Sad, sad, sad. Anyone still listen to old Neil Young, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, CSNY, Jefferson Airplane (not Starship), Parliament Funkadelic, 80's music like The Cure, The Church, Psychedelic Furs, or U2 when they didn't have any money and Bono wasn't a political spokesman as opposed to a front man for a really great band? Anyone hear of Wilco or Radiohead or Soundgarden?

I haven't heard the new song...can't find it on iTunes! I must hear this new song so I can see what is so bad about it.

BEP's Mas Que Nada was voted best hip hop song in my class. Of course it is a remix of a very popular song, but I LLLLOVE it. I also love Hey Mama, because it has that samba rhythm I crave. It makes me WANT to move. But to each her own.

Come on. Have you seen Fergies face up close? Behind all that make up, false hair, lashes, and bad skin, she's about as attractive as my Pug.

I don't think Fergie is that talented though...I was disappointed with her lack of real dancing skills in the video and on the stage performances. Not one samba step in such a good samba song.

Since BEP uses so much samba rhythm, I think they would benefit from teaming up with someone else like Daniela Mercury.

17:27, take that back! Such a mean thing to say about your Pug

My Pugs are stunning and Fergie is not.

Dear Zmom, I'm one of your biggest fans but have you ever heard of Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass-they are the ones who originally recorded this song and without even hearing the BEP's version, I bet theirs is better. Start looking at music as an art as opposed to a product and open up your mind-and, in turn, I will consider (not actually do, but consider) taking a Zumba class. Not because I want to, but because you're my hero on this website.

I thought Sergio Mendes was the original artist of Mas Que Nada. But I will look up your suggestion! I am very open minded with music...hip hop is not even my main specialty. Latin is my love...new, old, original, remixed, underground, unplugged, you name it. In fact, I am most drawn to any music that has strong African-based, tribal percussion in it...it's like my drug.

Think she used to be addicted to crystal meth.

My husband always comments that Fergie is "aging poorly". When the camera is close-up, she really does look about 10 years older than she is. Maybe due to the crystal meth years.
