I agree. Super lame. And this comes from someone who LOVES a lot of pop music. My problem isn't that they're pop. It's that they suck.

Moral & cultural vacuum? People sound a tad condescending when they say that.

Anyhow, my 7 y/o daughter listens to the pop songs that are on Radio Disney. They play some Black Eyed Peas. They sound slightly worse than the rest of the pop stuff on that station. I hope this is a short-lived phase.

I really truly love them. Fergie is beautiful and has a strong voice, and the fact that they have been doing this for so long and still putting out number hits and top concert draws is inspriring. I find them similar to No Doubt, however, Fergie is no Gwen that's for sure--but she could get there. Everyone has different tastes in music (I actually find starting a thread topic that you hate some type of band or singer is fairly ridiculous, but to each their own). Ever since their first albums I've liked them.

BEPs are no more banal and talentless then the majority of top forty type music these days-frankly it's all pretty terrible.

Hey, gotta give her big props for peeing her pants onstage and going on with the show-Ethel Merman would have loved this.
