See if he may be open to therapy. If so, I suggest EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy). I've done it with my partner and it has been so helpful!

We both benefited from having an experienced third party guide us through some important conversations. Personally, I loved having a safe space to talk about my needs and feelings. My partner did as well...

As with all couples' therapy, the caveat is that you both need to be interested in working on the relationship.

Things can get better! Positive vibes to you...

Why are you still wasting time with this loser? Limited time and he wasted it playing video games? I would throw his selfish ass out understaffed unsurprisingly bags....and I would toss his video game controller as well.
