What are you grateful for?

my husband, who brought me coffee this morning while he made breakfast for our high-energy, early bird 9-y.o.

my 9 y.o. DD's high energy, infinite curiosity and zest for life -- I'm grateful for this even though it's hard to take at 7:30 a.m.

my teen -- for agreeing very reluctantly -- to watch "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" last night (I mean, who wants to watch an '80s movie that your mom likes?) . . . and then laughing so hard he said he was gong to pee himself (oh well, teen boys will be teen boys)

our dog -- because she's such a sweetie, and is always happy to see me

I am grateful for each day I have to live, for my super-awesome village of a family, a fun job and good music.

My amazing loving and unique fiance. We've been together for 60% of my life and I can't imagine life without him. He means the world to me.

My mother and my two sisters, whom I would do anything for and know they would do the same for me. Unconditional love.

My health and youth.

My cat, who provides comfort and companionship to me every day.

Our lovely condo in a wonderful location - we rent but I love it and don't have any qualms about not owning a house yet.

My car which I bought new last year. The convenience and freedom it gives me.

The ability to travel and my experiences traveling, which I savor in my memories on a daily basis.

I love sitting inside next to the window cracked on a rainy day.

I love cooking good healthy food for people I love.

I am grateful for chai lattes, books (and bookstores!), yoga, burrowing under a pile of covers in bed, good music.
