Lazy Lizard, too. |
In OC:
Uber Bagels has better bagels than can be found in DC The Crabcake factory has the best crabcakes and Bloody Marys Albertinis Italian restaurant next to the Shanghai Buffet has brick oven pizza and homemade pastas. Ponzetttis has the best pizza. Bull on the Beach for pit beef. The best all around restaurant is Liquid Assets on 94th Street. The cheese and charcuterie boards are great. They have a good waygu beef burger and good Caesar Salad. Their dessert donuts are also fantastic. |
OP here. Thanks for the suggestions everyone! |
Agree, their pit beef is good. However, steer clear from anything from their raw bar. My husband ate raw oysters from this place last summer and ended up with an intestinal parasite. Of course, this could happen anytime and anywhere you consume raw seafood. It was an awful illness |
The Shark on the Harbor in W Ocean City is a fantastic place.
Not so much a kid place, maybe, but the food is outstanding. |
+1. |
Crabcake Factory is fantastic and fun for kids also. Best restaurant in OC imo.
All the Hooked places are good, a bit pricey compared to other OC restaurants. |
Barn 34 for breakfast, super good. |
Rope Walk on 82nd for a nice meal w kids - best playground |
A kid bit my kid there. I guess I should go on the rehoboth beach thread about trashy people and tell them it's not the neck tattoos or the obesity, it's the biting kids that are trashing up the beaches! ![]() |
This place is fun. Sand at your feet if you eat outdoors and live music too. |
For sandwich-type fare, the Greene Turtle at 116th and Smitty McGees off Lighthouse Rd in Fenwick |
Layton’s for breakfast!
Also love Fish Tales with the kids |
Another vote for Uber bagels |
Dead Freddies is great and it has an outdoor sandy seating area for the kids to play in.
Bon Fire is our favorite. It's a buffet but not trashy/frozen foods like Philips or Embers. The crab leg clusters on their buffet are always crispy and never soggy like at the others. We also like the apps at the OC Brewing Company. Others we're fans of The Shark on the Harbor and The Crabcake factory. |
