All these forum abbreviations??

Hi all, we just found out we're moving to the MDV (first abbreviation) and starting to do some research through these forums on places to live and schools for my kids. Can anyone post a quick guide to all these common abbreviations? I have no idea what they mean- things such as DH, DD, UMC, MC, IMC?

Dd- dear daughter UMC - upper middle class Mc - middle class Imc - no idea |

FCPS: Fairfax County Public Schools
FCCPS: Falls Church City Public Schools ACPS: Alexandria City Public Schools APS: Arlington (County) Public Schools DC: Dear Child DH: Dear Husband DW: Dear Wife DD: Dear Daughter DS: Dear Son The “Dear” can also be “Darn”

One more thing -- the generally accepted abbreviation for the area is the DMV
