Unbelievable. I hope Henderson is called in for this.

And this is what we've been dealing with for the past Rhee years! shameful, students pushed through and admin getting rich from this, riding the Ed Reform wave up and down America! Shame, shame, shame. Re the new Office of Integrity my A##, the blame starts at the top!

There should be a house cleaning of anyone involved in "Education Reform". I'd be happy to have them submit comments with the rest of us public but have none of them in charge of anything.

Bowser should grab that broom back from Rhee.

So now let's add Roosevelt STAY and ELLIOT HINES to the list.

The only office of integrity DCPS needs is called the FBI. By year end I’m guessing there’s a good chance dc public schools will have oversight by the the federal government. What a disaster. If this all gets linked backed to Kaya Henderson I hope she get arrested.

Didn’t people go to jail in the Georgia grade fixing scandal. How is this any different? If federal dollars were spent on special needs kids who were promoted and shouldn’t have been, I’m sure this administration would easily find some sort of “broke the public trust” law that she violated. I’m getting my popcorn

Are you for real, this fake data was used to get grants, federal dollars, fire teachers, hire teachers, promote the Ed Reform agenda! But even worse harm students, who when they get to college find out that they are actually REMEDIAL learners, that there college loan/scholarship doesn't cover the remedial classes and they dropout or go in debt. In fact there is an article in the POST by Jay Matthews about how many students dropped out after supposedly getting into college, how about another scandal.... https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/what-happened-to-all-those-missing-college-students/2018/02/04/c39cfea6-0830-11e8-b48c-b07fea957bd5_story.html

No, they did not go to jail for fixing grades. They went to jail for cheating on standardized tests. Somehow, I think you are capable of researching that on your computer, especially since you're probably one of those HHI, ivey-educated DCUMer.

Not the OP but DCPS did that too remember! Nothing came of it, also the investigation reports for 2015-2016 as well as last years have still not been released by OSSE. Okay I get last years, but if nothing to hide why still not post 2015-2016. Reports comping soon according to OSSE website! It can't take this long to clean up the mess!

I'm the reporter that aired the story on the Roosevelt STAY recordings. I'll try and answer any questions you have.

I do like that the new Chancellor said failure is a great teacher as long as it comes with continued support. I hope he can put that into action.

it seems like DCPS is unwilling to bring in outside expertise for anything, which ensures that the corruption and dysfunction continues. The fact that Wilson has "created" some new office of integrity and puts someone already part of the DCPS bureaucracy at the head of it tells me it will be worthless. Not to mention his credentials don't inspire much confidence. A PHD from a for-profit online "university"? Seriously? This is the best we can do in DC?
