I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong??

Ask a guy, your brother, a girfriend's husband, to look at your profile.

Not a bad idea

High chance that he will give you an anodyne white knight "you're beautiful and perfect" answer rather than the honest truth.

Post your profile on the bumble subreddit and you'll get a better critique.

I like that idea... I’m perfectly fine with feedback or constructive criticism and reddit is as good as any site for such..

Men can hit the young booty, women need to multiply their age by 1.5

Why Do You think so?

As another PP said... "The amount of angry, over 40 women in here is over the top."

Nothing triggers the bitter old harpies like the idea of older men dating younger women.

There are older men that are able to date younger women, the vast majority of men are not able to do this without transferring some incentive to the younger women. I went on a date with a guy 16 years older than me. He had dated someone 17 years younger before but it was while he was in a third world country. He thought he could successfully do that in DC . . . nope, the liver spots, trembling voice, and wrinkles weren't going to get it. He was just clueless.

ummm, why did you go out with him if you are so repulsed?

BECAUSE a dad in his mid 50s using the term "girls" is entirely inappropriate. Is he talking about college-aged females? Those are called women. Is he talking about high school girls under 18. That's illegal.

Thus the nausea.

No one cares if you are dating women in their late 20s or 30s. They are not "girls" though. Grow. UP.

I feel sorry for your kids, and any woman who dates you.

Okay, psycho.

I have found out. If they are really single. .if their names are really their names, even if you go on a date with them, every thing they are telling you, is a lie, and they have a wife across town waiting on them. Or they want to get on cams. Dominate you. Then their are those that even pretend at the whole Master/Sub thing. They are going thru the change of life. I know fron personal experience. I caught my husband doing all of it. He said he was 40 and he's 49. . Not married. Ha! Used a different name. A different town, wanted cams, dominate. Ladies ...... BEWARE

PP, sounds crazy, but my now exDH was also online dating and lying extensively about his marital status and true interests.... makes me very wary of online dating...

LOL and women neeeeeeever lie about themselves in their online profiles.

Usually, their lies start before they write a single word - i.e., with their photos.

I know it’s an old complaint, but some women are truly ridiculous about this.

And it makes no sense. It’s not like most women lack for attention on dating apps.

I'm a 44 yo guy and use tinder to score hookups with 20/30 yo women. Found my current FB on there. It's a good time to be an employed single guy!

Well gee you should have let him make videos of him dominating you at home and then he wouldn't have needed to go get young strange.

Amazing, there's a blame the victim line for every situation. I hope you are joking....

After my divorce at 45 I used Tinder with great success. I wasn’t looking for a LTR, I just wanted to have fun. What really worked for me in my profile was being honest and saying I was interested in women in my age range and not young hotties. The level of interest was amazing because every 40 year old was happy to find someone their age and not a 60 year old.

Please try Coffee Meets Bagel, Bumble, and Tinder (in that order if you are looking for a relationship). Match is also good if you are looking for a relationship.

Like any other endeavor, you have to put the time in it. If you do not want to hook-up right away, when you are texting with a potential match suggest meeting for a drink (at Happy Hour) or for coffee instead of a dinner date.

Nobody has mentioned OKCupid-is there a reason?

There is a lot of truth to this. If you are a good looking and sane guy you can do very well focused on women your own age. I'm 43 and most of the guys I meet are 55 to 60 and while they are often very nice I really like guys around my age.

Same. I'm 42 and find it very easy to date women close to my age who have children or women in their 20s who don't want to get married anytime soon. Women in their 30s who are ready to settle down and have a family look elsewhere.

This is so true. I’ve become involved with a few men off Tinder: 2 married, 1 fake name and story, 1 separated from wife and living separately but I don’t think any intention of divorcing. It’s a true sh*t show.
