Which one is that? |
Free speech? Many soldiers fought and died to preserve this right and freedom. Refocus on the white supremacist From previously shared buzzfeed article Spencer, who coined the term “alt-right,” heads the National Policy Institute, a white nationalist think tank. After Donald Trump’s win, he addressed an alt-right conference where people in the crowd were seen making Nazi salutes as Spencer shouted “Hail Trump! Hail our people! Hail our victory!” He also called for “peaceful ethnic cleansing” of nonwhite Americans, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Last month, protests and fights broke out at Auburn University in Alabama after Spencer gave a speech there. In her post, Fair wrote, “As a white woman, I find his membership at this gym to be unacceptable. I found his membership at this gym to be an unfair burden upon the women and people of color — and white male allies of the same.” |
You misunderstood me. It is of course her right to say whatever she wants. And I have the right to have an opinion about it. She does this stuff for attention. It's not the first time, and in the past it was directed at people who didn't deserve it at all. Shes a hammer looking for a nail and this time she hit the jackpot. I honestly think Fair is mentally ill |
Any local bar. |
Do you know of any who are members of that gym? |
Haha, what a sniveling dork. Apparently he appealed for help from an African-American employee at the gym while he was getting dressed down by this woman. ![]() ![]() ![]() African-American employee's response: ¯\_(?)_/¯ |
? I think most people feel those looters and rioters were wrong. I'm Korean, and lived through the LA riots. Spencer was judged by the content of not only his characer but his hate speech. |
I think this is the first fairly civil discussion I've had on this forum.( no fights or personal attacks) I hope we can agree to disagree. Great discussion guys. |
A white supremacist is still a white supremacist. Nothing to agree or disagree on there. |
Right. I was talking about the question of whether the gym should've kicked him out. We can agree to disagree there. |
I don't think it's his views that got his membership revoked or whatever I think it's his celebrity or rather his infamy that the club didn't want any part of. Basically they kicked him out in his best interests and theirs cause once word spread that he worked out there it was only going to be a matter of time before somebody whupped his ass. Not safe for him not good publicity for them. |
Agree that they were trying to avoid an incident and/or avoiding bad publicity from his presence. Although I'm sure they took staff comfort into consideration as well. |
[/b] A girl can dream... It would be nice if we could have that kind of exclusivity! But you can bet as soon as we tried to set up any kind of membership based group that discriminated against and didn't admit others based on things like politics, liberals would sue us faster than you can say "yoga". So things will remain status quo - where RW'ers can be discriminated against at-will, but never get to do any discriminating of our own, lest we be sued. |
I'm ok with discrimination against right-wing, white supremacists. Those MF-ers can eat dog poop. |

Yeah I think you might wanna stick with the status quo. You keep that white supremacist shit to yourself or expect to get your ass whupped. Ain't no safe space for you if I hear that shit. |
