Men- when is sex an emotional experience for you?

Does love get involved, so you only have feelings if you love her?

Is it ever so bad or disconnected that it upsets you after the fact?

With a new woman, if you have sex enough times you will eventually have pesky feelings for her.

Unfortunately, in a long-time relationship... such as a marriage of many years... the sex can get bad and disconnected.

Definitely true in relationships that if you stop having sex, you stop feeling any emotional connection.

When it is intimate then it's emotional and I need that as a part of my/our sex life.

As for love. I can feel that for someone I am not in love with. Only once have I ever gone there with a woman where I didn't have that connection and no I didn't feel love for her just because we did it. And that held true in spite of the fact that I had known her as a friend for quite some time and even though we 'did it' 4 times that one night. It did however change the level of our friendship afterwards but love never entered into it.

And yes if it's bad or disconnected it does bother me. In the past I have even stopped in the middle because it just wasn't enjoyable.

Nope

Nope

It's purely transactional.

I honestly don't understand how something could not be an emotional experience. Life is a series of emotional experiences.

It's an emotional experience anticipating sex with the one I love.
It's a physical experience when I have sex, and it's always with the one i love.
So, love is always there but i'm not thinking love when I'm having an O...or two

The entire time. To have someone in bed you really care about is the greatest.

The more testosterone you have , the less emotion from sex. Sex is satisfaction . Love is the rest of the time .
