Question of judgment - brewery glasses in classroom

On the Dogfish Head brewery tour you have to wear these big plastic safety glasses. So those are definitely brewery glasses. |

My partner went on a school field trip to large beer brewery when she was little.
They ate lunch in the tasting area. As a treat, the brewery gave each child a bottle of lemonade to sample. This was in Bavaria in the early 80s. But I'm sure kids still go on brewery field trips. America has a puritanical and unhealthy relationship with alcohol; it would do well to learn from Europe, where the viewpoints are more sophisticated and practical. |

I would agree with just buying some cheap glasses.
But if that isn't possible, you might be able to rub off printing as they often seem to wear away with time and use. Perhaps try using a razor blade to remove the printing. |

| Problem would be if there were two people competing for the job and 'she used beer glasses in the classroom' became the tie breaker among two equally qualified people. (THis is how academic jobs at the university level work -- you may have two equally qualified candidates and it will come down to something stupid like that, someone having expressed a preference for a movie that someone else found conservative and distasteful, etc._) |

One of our favorite family trips when we lived in France was to Champagne. There's a little train that goes through the caves where they keep the bottles and then you can walk around the vineyards. We had five kids under five with us (with the other family along) and we all had a blast! |
