My gut is screaming no but I'm kind of in a bind so I thought I would ask for DCUm perspective.
I'm interviewing for a teaching job tomorrow and I'm doing a demo in class where the students need glasses . I do not have enough and I have a few brewery glasses that I could bring in. I don't think this is appropriate, so I'm planning not to use them . Is there anyway this might be acceptable? They're not famous breweries like Budweiser, think smaller like a Abita our founders or something . |
Oh, and I don't think it would work with plastic cups, which is why I didn't get those but I may have to try it |
Swing by dollar tree and pick up some cheap glasses. Do not bring bear glasses to a job interview for a teaching position. |
No. Go to any grocery store and you'll find some basic glasses. Do not bring brewery glasses to an interview for a teaching job. --teacher. |
No, no, no, no, no. Do not do this. Find a workaround. |
do not do this.
If any of the kids pick up on the fact that they are beer glasses they will all start to giggle. You don't want a classroom manamgement problem on your hands- in a model lesson. |
Go to Walmart, Target, etc and get a 8 pack of glasses. |
I can even stop by Walgreens and find basic glass glasses. |
Target, or email your neighbors. |
All good suggestions. If you aren't near a store, ask your neighbors. Don't use branded glasses. It will distract from your demo, regardless of what they say. |
for an interview, I agree with the other posters.
For a regular classroom session where you weren't being judged, I probably wouldn't think twice. Dollar Tree has plain glasses for $1. |
Absolutely not acceptable. Agree with others to buy some. |
What are brewery glasses? |
Oh wait... drinking glasses, not eyeglasses. I get it now. |
LOL she's not bringing physical 'Beer Goggles.' ![]() |
