Favorite ways to pass time on a long flight

I load my iPad up with books, play Candy Crush, and catch up on movies shown on the IFE system. I fly business or first class, so the first meal always takes a few hours, and I never rush through it. Lie down and daydream lots.

Me again. The flights always went by a lot faster when I had to pump every three hours, too.

I would not drink with the xanex. Xtra strength tylenol [no drinking] puts me to sleep.

Also I prefer paperbacks to kindle. i pad etc [or small laptop, cheap ll bean duffle for maximum junk placement under seat in front of you, Comfy clothes-ie sweats or pj pants, airline schmatta layered over tank top and long sleeve t shirt. Long socks and ugg clogs.

Do you read slowly? No snark intended, but I stopped bringing actual books because they're so heavy and take up so much space, and I need four of them for a round trip long-haul flight. Kindles are the way to go.

+1 on the books - i love love love a real book, but they're so freaking heavy. plus i love that i can get a book rec from Vanity Fair or the New Yorker and download it at the airport/before I leave. One less thing to order online or errand to run
