Book club- I LOVE my book club. Swine flu wouldn't even keep me away...

Fit4Moms- it's $140 a month, but I try to go everyday. Small group training for about $7 a class. It's the best thing I ever did.

Pedicures 1X a month

Chocolate- I eat a little bit everyday.

Read (I am a big nerd)

Download reality TV shows from ITunes. This drives my husband nuts!!

Fresh flowers from Trader Joes- great deals on tulips.

I love Duvel Belgian beer and I splurge on this sometimes. It's SO good.

Time outside, wine in the evening, pretty new bra, load up at library on silly novels I would never buy, movies, coffee with a girlfriend, itunes download, clean sheets sprayed with lavendar spray,- heaven!

I obsess over the United Country Real Estate Catalogues-the specialty ones featuring waterfront properties, farms , mountain getaways and historic properties all over the country. I daydream about living in an antebellem mansion or a parcel of land on a mountaintop accessible only by 4 wheel drive or a property on the coast of Maine. I'm a hugh daydreamer...sigh...

Go for a run around the Cathedral and ogle beautiful homes and gardens;
Water my garden and then sit on the porch and watch the world go by;
Take a day with my best girlfriend and go birdwatching;
Buy myself something special-- just got a cool work bag to replace my ugly messenger bag and I love it;
Watch baseball with husband and drink an overpriced European beer;
Sex (hopefully a treat for him too)!
Make a special meal-- I love to cook;
hire a cleaning service;
Walk to work while husband does school drop off;
Take 5yo daughter to some special activity-- we're getting pedicures this weekend; went to Adventure Theater a month ago;
Take a "mental health day" from work, which usually means spending the day in Rock Creek Park with my dog;
Take family to the mountains for a hike.

Just noticed that most of my treats are outdoors but I have a desk job. Must have had a crappy career counselor!

I take two weekends a year off. One with a friend or friends. One by myself. These are both so important to me. My husband does at least one guys golf weekend. We don't make them super expensive. My weekend is usually someplace nice (beach) but I get a clean low cost room or stay at a b and b. I have done yoga or health type retreats too at lower cost places on my own.

I go with my friends to the Hangar club restaurant in Camp Springs, Maryland. Nice relaxing evening.

Not much, but I treat myself with hydrotherapy. I preach water conservancy to my kids, but I take an extra hot 20 minutes in the shower after I soak in the jacuzi. If I don't my muscles will lock up. Next week I will treat myself to the sauna.

I never go to the salon or on fancy vacations but my luxuries are Starbucks, Borders, Zumba clothes and expensive dance workshops.
