Do you actually use it? How often? Was it worth it? |
Vegetti, $15 (and used a 20% coupon at bed bath and beyond).
I use it for zucchini under meat sauce and meatballs while the rest of the fam has pasta. It's good! Haven't branched out much besides that. |
Got a Vegetti for my birthday and used it on cucumbers and zucchini so far.
It's kind of fun! |
I have a Gefu Spirelli (same thing as a vegetti) as well as a Paderno spiralizer. They no serve their purpose in my kitchen. The Gefu is used several times a week for zucchini noodles. The Paderno for beets, hard squash, potatoes, etc. |

I use it almost every single day. $20 was WELL worth this investment and I have been eating much healthier than before (I love pasta so replacing my pasta meals with zucchini has been great) |
I have the Paderno 3. I think I paid $25 for it on sale at Williams Sonoma.
I got it earlier this summer, and used it quite extensively on zucchini, but also beets & cucumbers. It's a bit bulky and awkward, but I'm a fan and would recommend, especially if you can find it on sale. I'm looking forward to continuing to use it into the fall to lighten some of my favorite pasta dishes. |

Paderno |
Paderno. Use it all the time. Mostly squash and sweet potatoes. |
I have used the vegetti on zucchini. I still make pasta but half as much and blend together. I don't even notice. |
I have the Paderno and use it at least once or twice a week.. Love it. |
Paderno as well. Cooks Illustrated gave it the best review and seems highly rated on Amazon too - where I purchased it. Well worth the money - I use it multiple times a week. |
Paderno. Use it once a week for zuchinni noodles - love it. |
Paderno. Used it tonight for zucchini noodles with meat sauce. |
I have the Paderno Inspiralizer and I don't love it.
It is difficult to clean and I can't figure out how to get a bowl to fit up close next to it to catch the stuff I've insprialized. The white plastic is stained from carrots and beets. |
