Does anyone have feedback on the Italian program there?

We too love CLS!

CLS and XDay are really different programs (although I read that CLS is going to try to provide more outdoor time next year, which is a plus). Think it really depends on the kid - my kid doesn't like CLS but likes XDay - whereas one friend switched from XDay to CLS and is much happier. To OP - is your concern over supervision on the younger grades (PK or K) or the older grades?

Who does better in which program?

We are a family who switched from CLS to XDay. It really depends on the kid. Mine weren't into language like I wanted them to be. They enjoy the extras XDay had like clay and sewing. Plus they spend a lot more time outside than CLS. But that may be changing it sounds like.

CLS is more structured, more classroom and more indoor time, less range of activities. Even though they are expanding the outdoor time, if your child takes language classes then it will of course be less outdoor time then Xday. so CLS is probably better for kids who like more structure. Xday better for kids that need to burn energy and have a range of things to do. FWIW, if you want to have your child decide you can sign up for a few days of language and a few days of xday and see what clicks for them.
