When she was under 12 months we did not. Now at 18 months, and in daycare, we do bath daily - part of routine and figure washes the daycare germs off. She enjoys the bath, but did not as much when she was younger. We wash hair every other day. |
if they play outside yes. In the warmer months we do daily, but in the winter more like every other day. My younger son has eczema and we find if we wash him less frequently his skin is much better. |
We do once a week baths for our 3.5 month old. We use wet wash cloths on face and hands daily (no soap). We've been told to not bathe her more often as babies have sensitive and delicate skin that too frequent washings can irritate. Once she's more mobile and it's hot out, then we'll see. But for now, it's once a week unless she pukes or poops all over herself. |
Twice a week that's it. DS doesn't love the bath and he really doesn't get that dirty. We wash hands and face throughout the day so I don't think it's necessary. Now in the summer every other day or daily depending on the activity. |
Every other day for our 15 m.o. unless he's really dirty! |
everyday, but I only wash their hair every third day. I would love to skip the bath sometimes, but they really love it. |
Our DD gets bathed 4x a week. As an infant, the doc. told us to be careful not to dry out the skin (especially in the winter) |
We bathe our daughter most evenings - it's part of her bedtime routine. What I find difficult is getting the energy to clean her bath toys (they are getting pretty grimey). I've been told to use a bleach solution... but I'd rather not use harsh chemicals - especially since it's hard to get water out of the squeezy toys. Has anyone figured out a quick & easy way to avoid/clean mildew on bath toys? Thanks! |
We've always given daily baths to our DCs who are 2 and 4. I wonder, when the big one can shower and bathe himself. he likes when he and his bro are together, but if he did it on his own may be helpful for me to catch a break. |
We only bathe our 9 month old more than twice a week if she gets dirty from a blown diaper or some other bodily function messes her up ![]() She has eczema so bathing daily isn't recommended. |
NO about 3 times a week. My children have sensitive, dryish skin, ped said better not to do too much. |
We bathe our 16 month old twins every other day. It gets to be too crazy to do it daily. |
Child is 10 months old. Bath is two times a week. This is recently up from once a week.

Not in the winter - it kills my 3.5 year old skin... I do in the summer though, as she gets very dirty and sweaty |
3 year old gets a shower every other day and a bath once a week as a special treat. 8 month old gets a bath every other day unless he had an explosive diaper. |
