Do you bathe your child daily?

No, it's actually bad for skin and hair to be washed every day. This goes for everyone, not just children. This is a myth, and all the cleaning that is needed is a cool four minute shower every other day, unless you have worked out.

To clean bath toys (or anything really) without using bleach, you can use tea tree oil. Just dilute it with water and away you go! The strength of the solution is up to you. It's safe for kids to ingest, anti-viral and anti-bacterial.

But if toys have mold it's better to throw them away. Mold is near impossible to kill completely and still be safe for kids.

I've heard that a vinegar and water solution is effective and safe.

Not during the winter months. Our 2.5 year-old doesn't get that dirty, and a daily bath isn't necessary. It exacerbates his already-dry skin as well. In the summer, we are much more likely to give him a daily bath (or shower with a parent).
