Out of the box DC activity for visiting teenage nephew and niece?

My 14 and 13 year old nephew and niece are visiting from NYC the day after Thanksgiving. They've been here many times so we've done the usual suspects.

Why not just go to a movie- so many good ones coming out.

Go to a ropes course? There is adventure park in Sandy Spring Maryland as well as it go ape in Germantown or Gaithersburg

How about the National Geographic museum? I take the kids to all of they're exhibits, which are usually really good. It's on Global Food now, and you can get a coupon on the bottom of a Whole Foods receipt.

Smithsonian Native American Indian? bonus that there is a cafe with cool foods. speaking of cool foods, you could take them out for ethiopian food in adams morgan. the US Mint?

National museum of medicine at Walter Reed in Silver Spring. Lots of gnarly stuff there that a teenage boy, at least, would like.

Go to iPic or ArcLight in Bethesda. Go horseback riding in Middleburg. Take a cooking class @ Le Acad de Cuisine. Go to an Xmas tree farm. Pinstripes in Georgetown. Trampoline park and raceway in Columbia if you're willing to make the drive...

Lots of good ideas so far.

Maybe try Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore.
It's a vey unique place.
