And that in and of itself is fucking amazing considering what a shithole it is. |
That is unusual. The standard pour in a restaurant is about 5oz. |
Savanah's is not in the Town of Kensington. http://www.gazette.net/article/20120120/NEWS/701209510/kensington-s-first-beer-and-wine-store-faces-uphill-battle&template=gazette |
That article says nothing about Savanah's and per the Town of Kensington maps - Savanah's is located between dupont & farragut. Perhaps they are referring to the historic part of the town but either way...shit is shit. There is finally what looks like a decent restuarant there and OP has to complain about an ounce of wine. Prob the town drunk. |

| Unless you measured it then you really don't know how much you received anyway. |
Not sure what this means. Pls elaborate? Is there a queue? |
Some words have multiple meanings. I've have heard this expression ages ago, but not recently. Also, urban dictionary is your friend. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=chintz |
I didn't write this post, but I think the post means that since Kensington has very few sitdown restaurants, restaurants have opened thinking that they don't actually have to be any good and they will still get great business in a captive market. |
PP is correct, the linked article says nothing about Savannah's but instead references Old Town Market. Also, see the difference between licenses to sell alcohol on-site vs. takeaway. |
You use urban dictionary to mock someone about a word's definition? Why don't you look up chucklehead. I could barely type this, I was laughing so hard. |
I'm the one who was being mocked. Thanks, 14:41, for giving me back my grin.
