Displacing people is an attack. What did the Palestinians do to the Israelis to warrant displacement? |
The same old ridiculous arguments about who fired the first shot, who suffered the most, who spilled the most blood. THIS IS SENSELESS. |
Whose money is Israel spending to protect its citizens? http://www.defensenews.com/article/20140723/DEFREG04/307230038/Pentagon-Supports-Emergency-225M-Israel-s-Iron-Dome

They fire enough that they end up hitting innocent targets anyway. I'm not sure it would be much different. |
That's in addition to the more than $500m already spent by the US. Which is the unclassified number. For a system that the Israelis won't even give the US co production rights to. They're really #*#&@ up. And we are so stupid for giving them money. |
By effectively putting a blockade on Gaza, they fired the first shot, said Israel itself...... |
Arabs exterminating Christians in Iraq . Israel is a million times more proportional than their enemy. |
Again, for the billionth time, whatever Arabs are up to in any part of the world is not relevant to a discussion of Israel. |
Oh, and "Arabs" are not Israel's enemy. Palestinians are a distinct group, not just generic "Arabs." Arabs are not one big monolithic group, there are many nationalities and ethnic and religious groups that can be described as Arab. |
She was a sociopath who decided to move to Israel so that she could have a stage to do her dirty work without going to jail. |
Lumping Arabs together is the same as saying there are black people killing each other in Chicago when someone points out African children are dying of hunger. It is the same as saying White people are responsible for the holocaust, and it is the same rhetoric that is used by people who say Muslims are Terrorists. Lumping a certain group of people together based on race, or religion is not just racist, it is narrow-minded. Now if you want to discuss what ISIS is doing in Iraq, then be my guest. The difference here is nobody, not a single government or organization in the world is supporting ISIS while the US government and many other European governments have been and are currently supporting Israel's right to "defend" itself against a civilian population. |
So, this thread that began as a quote has devolved quickly into a debate very much like the other 20+ threads on this forum.
Same points, same arguments, same discussion. Nothing new. Don’t you all get a little tired of saying the same things over and over again? |
OP here. Actually, I get a little tired of reading the same tropes over and over again. If I mention the deaths of Palestinian civilians, I get a "counter argument" that goes along the lines of "Do you want more Israelis to die? Is it our fault that we have good bomb shelters?" Which is just absurdly ridiculous. Of course I don't want more Israelis to die! I want Israel to kill fewer Palestinians civilians!
Stop using twisted, insane logic to justify killing civilians -- you have to do it [?!!!?] -- if anyone questions that you do it, that means they want you to die [?!!?] Stop cheering while civilians die. Find your morality. That's what I cam here to say. |
http://www.wrmea.org/congress-and-us-aid-to-israel.html US aid to Israel WE are paying for these deaths. So when you ask us to "find our morality," how will that help end this conflict when our tax money is being used to fund this war? |
Not OP, but protest. Call/email/write your representatives. Tell them you won't be voting for them if they don't do something. There are plenty of us who are disgusted by this, we can make a difference. I know AIPAC has a lot of money, but the public has the voting power, if we use it. |
