New York ~ |
Washington, DC (I live in the city). Green spaces, lots of parks numerous free museums, great neighborhoods, all in proximity to downtown. Metro service is still pretty good. The Potomac is a wild river just miles from the White House. The height limit ensures wide open vistas and lots of light. When I fly back into National airport, it feels like landing in a park.
San Francisco would be second. |
Both Portlands are very nice--Maine and Oregon. I'm also a fan of Juneau, AK. |
