for those of you who purchased one, was a wipe warmer worth it?

I loved mine with my first kiddo.

I was convinced I was going to use it with the second. Nope, I have enough to worry about than washing and reloading that thing every other day.

But it was good when I just had one child.

Just tossed my munchkin in the trash. I noticed that when she is hungry...she is fussy...ski change her after a feeding. She doesn't care about the temp when her belly is full or near full.

I change DC under a heat lamp. She looks like a roast.

Nope. I thought it was a waste of electricity.

Love the roast comment.

It was fabulous for my December baby in my drafty house! But I'll agree I only used it through that first winter.

I scoffed at them entirely, but when my son was 2 I changed him at a friend's house who had one. He is pretty verbal and spent 2 days talking about their "nice wipes". I'm pregnant and sort of considering getting one for our second kid now since it seems clear to me that they do make it feel better based on his comment.

We loved ours. But they don't work with Flushable wipes. The heat disintegrates those.

Someone gave me their used one and I loved it. Get a coupon and buy one. Or go to craigslist or freecycle to see if you can get one their, if price is an issue.

I loved our (so did baby). Do remember to unplug, however, if you go on vacation.

Same here. I'm so glad, because I would not have bought one. But it's one of the things I've used the longest.

Just because your baby didn't need it doesn't mean a wipe warmer wasn't a lifesaver for others.

YES! IT WAS WORTH IT! It was so necessary that I ordered one at 3am when my newborn was 6 days old.

BUT, like anything else, IT DEPENDS ON YOUR BABY.

My firstborn screamed like crazy in the middle of the night if the wipes were cold. My second child couldn't have cared less.

I also got one as a gift and love it. My baby hated being cold and would scream whenever we changed her with cold wipes. Warm wipes = happy baby.
